I did by a blank cover a couple months after. I love the blank cover on my guitar. Tbh, I think I would also replace the Standard one with a blank cover. But in my hard I know it is not a standard.
I am an idiot that way.
I tried it at the store. Yes. In fact, I went ot buy a 60s Standard in BB color. but the store had the trads on sale. and I liked it, I saved 500€ by getting the Trad, and I liked the tone more of what I had imagined a Les Pauld would sound when played live.
Then I came home, loved my guitar...
I got one of the last traditionals, a ´19 Traditional in HCS. Awesome guitar and specs are basically the same than the standard 50s. However, I did try a Standard last year in a store... and it felt quite different some how.
But yeah, I got the Traditional on sale for about 1700€, which is what...
There are different level of wealth and what people are willing to spend for a guitar. While I am sold on the Slash marketing thing, currently saving for one, and can afford a higher end standard, I can't really justify to myself going to the Custom Shop prices... in part because I am a hobbyist...
Hi, Man. Just Curious, what is the biggest retailer in Canada? I wanted to give my brother a guitar for graduation present, but I am not sure what stores are comparable with Sweetwater or Thomann over there.
Any suggestions where to get nice guitars? It will not be a Gibson, but maybe an...
the other thread with the Custom did end in you getting a badass studio!!! congrats!!!
I have liked that guitar a lot since I saw it in the stores, but I am saving for a slash one. I like the color choice made with the tangerine burst though!
Beatiful guitar! congrats! I don't know why the black one costs more than the other ones, at least here in Germany. Which is a shame, because I would like the black most of all.
Something you should know? you will probably start looking at more Les Pauls soon and want to get yet another one.
I keep seeing this picture in the forum and still can't believe how nice that flame is. I said this before (I think to you) but I will say it again. I am saving for the Goldtop one, but if I saw a November like yours I would deffinetively go for it instead.
Love the Gadsden flag on it.
I don't have tube amps, mostly play with emulators due to a "not want my neighbors to hate me" situation. But I love my Trad 2019.
Saving for a Slash Goldtop now.
Anyways, cool story and cool guitar.
I may be wrong here, but I have the impresion when I visited the store and they had both, that the tribute's top was much flatter than the studio, which is carved.
It may be been just my impresion. Also in the main Picture from OP the body looks flat, so I also thought Tribute
