    Murphy Lab Pricing

The notion that Gibson has only one guy who can paint a guitar well, and it's going to cost you a few thousand $$$ extra... is it any wonder they get so much ridicule?

It's funny how people from one interest tend to overflow into others. I'm on Steve Hoffman, Audiokarma and a few of the guitar forums listed as well. Actually, I've been on and created hundreds of forums since the 90's and the only one I've ever been banned on is TGP.

Thanks LSAR, I should have thought to check that. I wonder if they started them all themselves or if they're one of those groups that goes around buying up existing forums. My guess is the latter.

Yes, and banned 3 times. None of which were deserved or I'd brag about them. It seems the ban hammer is a recreational past time at TGP.

I was thinking this same thing, but about Strat-Talk. Over on ST I'm pretty sure you can say nearly anything but on TGP you can be banned for acting sensibly or even posting a pic of a commonly available guitar pedal that some might find offensive.

Best Place To Buy An SG Junior?

Peobryant beat me to it. Wildwood is absolutely where you want to go. Call or email them and ask what they have on order - they get a lot of inventory revolving through. I just bought a ww10 thin skin strat from them a few months ago. I ended up on the phone with them and they really went...

The bottom of TGP lists this site and others as being "sister sites" This implies they are under the same ownership or share common administration. This was surprising to me because I've seen threads on multiple sites in this list that were critical of TGP's mods and what they felt was...

These books literally changed my life, and I'm not one to say a thing like that. How to stop worrying and start living - Dale Carnegie. Everyone should read this, not just people with anxiety challenges. 12 rules for life - Jordan B Peterson. Just read it, or at least watch his youtube...

    Yamaha SG1820, SJ1802, SG2000, etc.

Yeah, I did a ton of research on various Tokai, Edwards, Greco, etc replicas of LP Juniors and was dead set on getting one in Tokyo. Then I got there and saw the overwhelming number of guitars. 2 of the main things that stuck out to me were the 'vintage' SG2000 which I'd never seen in person...
