    Delay Recommendations

I used the settings in this demo to get started with mine.

    Delay Recommendations

I’ve never tried one. I have a MIJ AD Delay, but it was from Ibanez’ bargain line. I like that pedal find, but the new Mini is quieter, livelier and doubles the delay time. The only downside might be the mini-knobs on the repeats and blend knobs. They work fine, but are small for seeing the...

I do fine with an Ibanez Mini Analog.

Who makes the best intermediate priced ($800-1250 used) modern 335?

Vantage VSH-445. Look it up, incredible guitar, even though it wasn’t for me. Anything made at Matsumoku is worth it.

Your Effects Pedalboard !!! Pics !!!

Off is the Mooer SkyVerb in favour of an MXR M300 Reverb. Best reverb pedal I've ever played.

Would you buy an Eart guitar?

Horrifying, and no where is the criticism stronger than in the US. Nothing of the kind in China.

    Different amps, 1 cab?

    It’s an A/B switch…one amp at a time.

Would you buy an Eart guitar?

Where possible. Any message is good.

Would you buy an Eart guitar?

The US has forced their citizens into re-education camps? They use rape and sterilization as a means of coercion? They are presently committing genocide? The US may have faults, but it’s greatest criticism comes from its own citizens. That ain’t ever gonna happen under the CCP. Not to help...

Would you buy an Eart guitar?

Yup. And I’m not buying one.

Would you buy an Eart guitar?

Wherever possible, don’t buy their goods. Probably impossible. However, all they want to do is export to the world. If enough people stop buying from them (when possible), it could send a message.

    ACDC Tone Check

Rangemaster clones are not hard to track down. Many builders have their own version, and they’re usually a staple of small builders. Mine was only $100 and it’s been a profound addition to my playing experience.

    ACDC Tone Check

New clip is sounding good. One thing to remember when messing around like this is you are playing alone. You have nothing else to add to the percussive sounds on the track, especially drums! In my experience, it’s often why I have too much distortion for the song I’m covering.

    ACDC Tone Check

If a pickup change is too much, I love using a Rangemaster treble booster clone for this. I nicknamed mine the ‘woof shaver’.

    Different amps, 1 cab?

You need to have a switching box. The Radial Headbone let’s you switch between two tube heads that can be patched in at the same time. It’s really a loadbox. When you switch to an amp, the other one is patched into the load circuitry so it doesn’t overheat. Great kit for running a two head setup...

P90s - Mojotone vs Gibson vs...?

Yeah, Vineham is my pickup of choice. Dealing with Craig is a pure joy. He knows his craft and gave me excellent consultation to help me with my choices. I’ve only tried his humbuckers. His ‘6070’ hot T-Top is my favourite pickup of all. I only knew T-Tops at the time and preferred his to an...

    ACDC Tone Check

There's a physicality to playing those AC/DC riffs. Just look at Malcolm in action...he's bashing those strings with his right hand!

Anything new in the world of reverb pedals/tanks?

Yes! It's a pretty high powered pedal, draws 240 mA. I first thought it was broken because I couldn't power it from my supply as each output tops out at 200mA. However, everything comes out smooth and real sounding. It's also so much quieter than what I was using. A fine addition.

    ACDC Tone Check

Sounding good! You're getting there. I'm thinking it could have more punch, while lowering the distortion some. I used to use gobs of distortion for AC/DC, but realized that they aren't playing with high, heavy grit. There is something to the way they hit the chords.
