Sooooo as soon as I found out Epiphone was making them again I found the nearest one to me and got to try it.
It was the red one, quite a cool looking finish.
Overall the guitar was well made and sounded good.
Unfortunately I couldn't enjoy it fully.
You see, I had the chance to have...
Ok guys so I open this thread as I've not seen one already
last night Mooer launched their iOs app "GE Labs".
It's a pretty standard app, stuff I don't usually am hyped for and frankly I don't care about most of the pedals and amps they put.
The points is: THEY ADDED A PROFILE SECTION
Ok guys, what's up?
It's been a lot since I've been present in the forum, or even posted here. You know, life lol.
But since Italy is locked down and it's starting to get boring, I dug up my chisels and router these days!!
So let's make a little update on the situation:
I started making...
Hello fellas, I got a jtm30 bought for cheap.
when I turn it on, it plays full volume, but after some minutes its volume starts to weaken, to the point it gets mute.
It is also very prone to electricity noises, like if I plug other stuff in nearby outlets it gets noisy.
I know the model has...
I wanted to hear some input from you guys, as I already have my "go to" mods but wanted to hear something from you.
So that's the question, suppose you have a low end instrument, a beginner one, and you want to make it feel (not sound, feel) like a good, playable guitar.
so I need to put 2 guitars into my amp.
This should be easy, A/B/Y switch and that's it, and it is how I'm currently doing it.
Problems start to pop up when I lower one guitar's volume, at the point that it is mute.
In this situation, the other guitar goes mute too
Hello folks, just a quick question.
I'm not a huge expert on Marshalls and I'd like to know what amp is this, as it has been used in one of my favourite records.
thanks for the help!
I can tell it probably is a recent (white logo), 2x10", low wattage amp!
My Kemper is having some issues, like there is no output, sometimes it's noisy, stuff like that. Since it already happened and it's still in warranty I'm gonna send it back to have it fixed.
Once it's fixed tho I'm pretty sure I'll get rid of it. 2 times it has died on me in less...
Hello guys. I can't wait. In the next days I'm gonna have the chance to try out a Epiphone Riviera from the 60s. It should be a 1967, to be precise.
The guitar has certainly seen better days.
It has been refinished (one of the ugliest burst I have ever seen) after a huge crack on the top...
I'm in need of a sound card with more analog outputs.
Right now I'm using a Focusrite 18i8, which has only 2 main outs.
My problem is that in a live situation I'd rather send to the mixer different signals for the FOH and the stage monitors, but right now I can only have the...
Hello folks, while my Kemper is being repaired (hardware failure - lucky me it was in warranty) I was wondering, seeing some new modeling technology as the SIM1 XT1, what should we look forward for the new generation of high end modeling.
Personally, what I would really appreciate to become a...
I'm starting this thread because I may have access to a CNC for free only for the next weeks. This is because a friend of mine studies design at college and has laboratories with cnc machines and other stuff.
Now, let's say I'd LOVE to build a ES style guitar, using the...
No, they don't.
Check out this video from an italian Kemper user.
Same Kemper profile (Bogner XTC by Guidorist), same pickup (SD JB), same strings (10-46).
- Fender Stratocaster swamp ash
- Fender Stratocaster alder
- a guitar made for him by a luthier
- Gibson Les Paul Custom...
So.. today I got a Kemper.
I sold the Tokai LP I had and didn't use enough to justify keeping it, and I bought a kemper, rack version.
I played it briefly thru some cheap headphones, but I've got to say, this thing blew me away.
I thought I was getting good sounds from my amplifire...
Hi all, so in these days I've started working on a new guitar. I can't paint the other one I'm finishing because of the weather (too humid and cold) so it'll have to wait until spring.
Therefore I started a new one.
Nothing really special, as I am going for a standard jazzmaster.
Hello fellas, so for those of you who are not in TGP or in Atomic Amplifire facebook page, I just wanted to share here these new IRs.
3sigma acoustics IRs
The do a very great job in simulating an acoustic guitar.
They can be used with electric guitar, piezo, and acoustic guitar.
Hello folks, I got a Squier CV that I really love.
I was interested in replacing its saddles with some piezo ones, to achieve some good acoustic tones using 3sigma audio's new IRs.
Do you have any recommendation on what to look for?
I have seen the Graph Tech Ghost, but I wouldn't know...
Hello folks, hope it's the correct place to post my question.
I've got a question, you see, I'm interested in IEM, and was thinking of getting a very low end system, just for trying it and because my band isn't big enough to justify dropping too much cash on it.
Plus we only play small...
Hello guys. I wanted to see what those of you who use a CNC think of this drawings I'm working on Rhino.
It's a Rick 660. I had to work my way around from some pics I found online, as I didn't find plans.
In particular I'm not sure about the neck height at the neck-body joint.
Hello guys, I'm considering selling my Peavey Duel 212. It's in good condition, plays good, no strange noise.
It's built like a tank, but if you know the model there's no real need for me to explain how good it is.
It's complete of its footswitch.
I'm asking 400, but I'm flexible on the...
