No way a setup is gonna withstand travel and storage, but, anyone has the setup specs they use at the custom shop? They got to have a baseline for relief, string height, pickups height, etc. What is it?
I've noticed the same on a LP Special I just received from Chicago Musical Exchange. To be honest I had never seen it before done like that, which is almost embarrassing maybe, and was thinking about changing it, but the guitar plays like a dream. Picture below.
So recently I got an R9 with these. Love them, but kept messing with heights not able to decide where to settle. Finally bridge is at 1mm both sides, neck is at 0.5mm high E, 1.5mm low E. Quite a bit higher than I usually go with PAFs... you guys finding the same?
