    NGD: SG Custom

Congrats! I've been wanting one myself, and with the fret issues I've heard about, I would just order one and have it pleked. That's why I would do Sweetwater as well.

You, myself, @LtDave32 and a whole lotta peeps on this site. I've heard people bitch about StewMacs prices, but every freakin' thing I've purchased has been great, so I take that with the knowledge I'm getting great quality tools and products.

MLP done dirty and declared DEAD!!

On Trogly's last video reviewing an Episode LP Classic in purple burst, he said he's entering into a partnership with StewMac so he can address the fret issues that seem to be plaguing Epis nowadays. As stated before, I'm uncertain about his setup and intonation skills, but now he's doing fret...

    Pedal or amp. Backstage demographic

On my Boss Mini Katana, I use the overdrive/brown sound. 1982 Marshall JCM 800 4104, straight amp but at low volumes. 1973 Vibrochamp, I use pedals. @Alligatorbling has got me jonesing for a Sugar Drive. On the last JHS video on YouTube, Josh said it was based on the ultra rare blue Klon...

MLP done dirty and declared DEAD!!

The Mojotone amp building clinic was held at a lutherie academy in Phoenix, where he lives. It was about a couple of months back. He did the clinic and all three times he went to have the amp checked, he did something wrong and never finished the amp build on time in the class. He had to have...

MLP done dirty and declared DEAD!!

There was a live stream about a year or so ago, and it was a group stream with all the usual YouTube guys and Tone King said "Looks like we have a bastion of powers here". It was a bit pretentious of him to say so, and I wonder if these guys really like each other as much as they try to portray...

MLP done dirty and declared DEAD!!

I've seen some live streams that The Tone King and P McKnight put out, and I asked a few questions on the stream, which get ignored. But one of his Patreons or "buddies" copies and pastes my question, these guys jump all over it. Especially the super chat guys. They pay and get the questions...

Yeah, I caught that too. I'm still uncertain if he can actually set intonation on a ABR or Nashville bridge. He seems to be getting a little smug with himself. Much like other you tubers like McKnight, and the Tone King. I do like the Guitologist, though. He seems like he's a regular dude. I...

I'm seriously considering selling my LP and picking up an SG. They just agree with me more.

    For all you manly types

Well, I'm just glad I got my soap order for Bow Chicka Wow Wow in before it sold out on the Dr Squatch website. Bow Chicka Wow Wow Seriously though, Dr Squatch soap kicks ass. If you order, just go for the Pine Tar first and you'll thank me later.

Heavy GAS hit... purchase is close...

I have a Charvel San Dimas in Neon Pink. I love that thing, and I've been eyeing the Jackson myself. That's a tough call, but I would side on what @Liquid State said. Between those two, I'd go for the Jackson. I love the finish. Spec wise, other than the Ash on the Charvel and Alder on the...

String gauge---Does this settle it once and for all?

I use the Rev. Willies 7s or 8s and the Ernie Ball 8s. They all sound good to me and other than being a little extra careful with the little E string, I've had no problems. I usually run the little E through the post twice, especially with locking tuners. And don't tug too hard when stretching...

String gauge---Does this settle it once and for all?

When I worked at Carvin, their Carvin branded strings were GHS Boomers. But you're correct in your suspicions. I wonder who else does that.
