    best Leslie pedal?

I just recently got a Hughes and Kettner Tube Rotosphere, and I'm extremely happy with it... but I don't have any experience with other pedals to compare it to. All I know is that a POG2 into the Rotosphere sounds glorious.

    Tobacco Burst Custom Devil

    Yup. That's unhelpful, assholish behavior.

    Tobacco Burst Custom Devil

Pretty much this. If you're looking for feedback from people who like your design, you're looking for praise, not feedback. Critiques from people who DON'T like your design (and can articulate why) are a builder's best friend.

Some of the black will "pop" again when it's got a finish. Did you shoot your test piece with some lacquer after sanding back?

What's the point of a 7 string baritone?

It would be more apt if they were referred to as "extended scale" rather than baritone, as the intended tuning is *generally* B-standard. The extended length is to help keep the low B tight, tension-wise.

    Alcohol/oil stains streaky?

Yup. The blending ability of water based dyes is great:

    Alcohol/oil stains streaky?

For dying by hand waterbased dyes are the bee's knees. Alcohol dries to fast to make sure everything's evened out nicely.

    Hydrochloric acid and aluminium

I got lucky the one time that that happened to me. I only glue my eyelids together for a day :laugh2: Who has time for panty lines in the workshop, amirite? :laugh2:

Some spalty maple... my favorite kind: No crazy action, it isn't too busy, but it still has character and texture in spades:
