Gibson confirmed that it’s a 99 as of yesterday. plus I bought it before 09……what’s wrong with the inlays? My friend bought it new in 01 and had to be nos at that point.
Thank you all for the responses. Yes I was speaking about investment purposes only. My number one is a heavily flamed sweet cherry 97 R8 and the 01 R9 is my number two. I have about 40 others in the stash, but I don’t have a murphy at all. The offer is for a straight up trade which is why I was...
Hi guys. Just curious about the pros and cons of the new Murphy’s. My r9 is not a verified Brazilian but it is a highly figured lemon burst. No real patina to brag about and no binding bleed. It is bone stock. The Murphy is a bourbon looking burst that is nearly unplayed. prices are all over the...
Gotcha. Thanks for the reply. I wouldnt be using the bag as a selling point anyways. I just think they belong together since that's how it stayed for so long. I appreciate the input.
Hi guys. I purchased a Fender Telecaster from a collector in Nashville a couple of years ago. He played for the Opry house band and was a self proclaimed "world traveler". Anyways, He ordered this guitar from Fender through Grunn Guitars back in January of 2004. He specifically asked that...
I don't even know why I'm posting this but......Gibson will send a COA if you talk to the right fella.......unless they did it for me on accident or without knowing the rules. My parents bought me my first Les Paul which was an incredibly nice gesture. It was a 1997 Gibson Joe Perry Signature...
Just sent the payment. Sorry it took so long to get the funds transferred from my investment account to my checking. Anyways I'm super excited about it. Thanks. What a birthday present to myself. :)
Thanks guys for all the advice and willingness to help. I didn't get to take any pics last night because I had to work late. I'll send out a couple of PMs later and hopefully snap a few pics tonight. Thanks again guys. I really appreciate it.
That's a really nice thought. Once I make up my mind to part with them I'll give my MLP family first dibs. Today was the first time I have even thought about how much I've invested in them over the years. To top it all off, 95% of the time I'm playing straight through my jvm410H or my 60...
Yeah but I have learned a lot from owning them. I'm going to sell most of them and do exactly that.....buy something old or another Brazilian. I'll post a pic shortly.
Hi guys. I just took inventory of my pedal collection and was surprised to find out that over the years I have spent wayyyy too much money on pedals. I guess its about time to sell some of them off to buy another les paul or something. Anyone else have way more than they imagined invested in...
Just donated. I have a 7 year old Yorkie Poo named Max that I like better than most humans. I would sell one of my reissues in a heartbeat for that little fella. He's never let me down and is always happy to see me. If you guys donate, he can keep his reissue and his beloved Max. Good luck...
Hi guys. Does anyone know of a JMP1 combo or head for sale? Looking to try a 1 watter to see if its all theyre cracked up to be. Apparently I've missed a few in the FS section. I would also consider the JTM1 but would ultimately like to own both. Thanks in advance. Feel free to email me at...
The tiki drive is one of my favorites. It gets very thick and heavy. You can pair it with other distortion pedals and it works really well. The tiki drive can get rock to metal tones with the twist of a knob. I don't have one for sale but you can get it from Lovepedal.
