Yep. we're doing a kickstarter for our documentary where I am going to attempt to build a guitar start to finish within a single 24 hour period!!
On top of that, we're doing some give-aways during the campaign, and when the kickstarter gets fully funded, we are going...
I use a bunch of graph tech stuff for consistency, but brass helps the open strings sound closer to the fretted notes, which in my mind is a plus.
I just did a Lignum vitae nut on my acoustic and it sounds great, and looks pretty cool too.
we had a really cool classical/flamenco guitarist come in today and we filmed three songs, and a quick demo of the pickups..
probably up by the end of summer =]
There are so many things I could say about this build, but the two words that stick out in my mind the most are " challenging" and "rewarding"
