If you soldered the bridge ground to the back of the pot, it's possible that the potentiometer outer casing isn't connected to the PCB ground plane and you will need to relocate the ground to the PCB somehow. Maybe the outer lug of the volume pot that goes to ground in the PCB is accessible...
Yeah I would imagine there will be quite a few threads here being such an iconic guitar. Especially on this forum :) Anyhow, I thought it was worthy of a post for people to see. This isn't something we'll see everyday that's for sure!
I just saw this in my feed and thought it would be interesting to share here. Les Paul! What a national treasure!

I've never seen butyrate on post 70's Gibsons. I know the newer 2019's were supposed to have more vintage accurate appointments, but I can't speak for the pickups on those.
Hi thanks for your comment. Unfortunately I don't know of a way to make lipstick pickups sound full like a humbucker without killing their clarity and tone. Lipstick pickups are what they are really. Checkout the rout under the pickguard and see if there are any other pickup options to fit that...
One of our customers kindly let me share his audio comparison of our Mojotone '59 Clone PAF vs the Seymour Duncan Seth Lover PAF. Both with Alnico 2 magnets. I think it's great and it really highlights how our winding technique brings out the most clarity and response with each pickup we make...
Hi yes please feel free to PM me for my direct email address. I check up on this forum once a week or so, so please be patient for my reply. I'm not sure when you submitted a message through our site, but we did have some glitches the first couple of weeks after we launched the new site. Normal...
Hi, I'm sorry to hear no one replied to your email. That doesn't make sense unless it went to spam or something. We ALWAYS reply unless it's phishy or we just don't get it for some reason. Also did you try calling us on the phone about this after you didn't get a reply? We stand behind our...
Hi there,
The CTS push pull pots are designed to release before you break the switch. You have to pull pretty hard to get them to pop out like that (usually when you try to pull a knob off) but it will push and click right back in. I hope this helps.
Hi Everyone,
We've got some sound clips finally. The audio gets compressed slightly on Youtube for some reason but that's the nature of it. I think the point comes across just fine. Oh and the noise you are hearing is the Tube Screamer hissing which is normal. Enjoy...
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth at NAMM and making it a huge success! The Quiet Coils were a major hit! I've got a friend lined up to do video demos of the Quiet Coils for me. What would you like to hear in the sound clips? My buddy is a killer strat player who really nails the SRV...
