Great, thank you very much for the detail. The funny thing is when I first saw adds on tv a couple of years ago, I was wondering if it was a gimmick, kind of like that online auction place where you're guaranteed to win your first auction and can get ipads for $5 or whatever. Yeah right...
I was curious about Offer Up. I know that @Zungle has used it a bunch with success. (That's really what got me thinking about it.) Has anybody else used it? What do you think of it in general? Looking to see if there's a general consensus (in at least reasonably sized market areas). I have...
Man, once again, that is ridiculously nice! That green surprised me at how awesome it looks. And the color changes in the lighting. Glad it came together well and wanted to be a guitar. That just looks fantastic and sounds just as good. I like that Fralin noiseless P-90. @VictorB nice...
Not too long ago, I remember having none of these spots to wait. You'd get your food relatively quickly. On the off chance they were making new fries or whatever, they'd ask you to pull into a parking lane for a minute or two. That was rare. Now they have lanes. OK, one or two, fine. But...
Thanks so much for the correction (I'm still learning a bunch, especially about G&L) and the wealth of information! Thanks also for the heads up on the 80s models. I'm definitely going to keep an eye/search open for that. Not to derail the OP (I can start a new G&L discussion thread if...
Very nice! I haven't been able to try to the Broadcaster type/setup yet. But I've been intrigued lately with Nashville Teles, so I've been seriously looking at the ASAT Classic S (which is what the ASAT III is apparently called today). I like the flexibility of the Nashville Teles, but am...
Absolutely!! :laugh2:
I bought a couple of (tribute) ASATs from @Pop1655 and really loved them both. I also then near that time bought a used (USA) Legacy. That really blew me away too. Fantastic, all of them. And for that, I have to say, Thanks, Mark! :thumb:
Beautiful! Congrats and enjoy it! Like others have said, G&L has spoiled me when it comes to Teles and Strats. I do like Fender, but I have loved the feel, quality and tone of the G&Ls that I have played and bought so much more. Only my DSG Tele is better.
Wow, who ever imagined windows and careless smoking (sunken ships and military base explosions) could be so lethal? Probably just passed cancer on the leading causes of death list.....
Agreed. I went through it last month. For about a week I was kind of in a haze. The first two days I also had that pit in the stomach feel and absolutely no appetite. So that can definitely be a normal reaction to loss. It will slowly lift and pass but not uncommon.
