    I’ve had enough, I Quit...

I will give you a little more incentive. I have purchased 2 amps since I quit... mostly with the money I would have spent on smokes.

    I’ve had enough, I Quit...

I quit Jun. 2016 cold turkey after 47 years of busting thru 2 1/2 packs a day. If I can do it anyone can do it.

    USPS Missing Guitar

I bought a Les Paul off eBay about 8 years ago that was supposed to be shipped UPS. When the seller found out UPS was going to cost twice as much as the listed shipping charges he had in the ad he shipped USPS instead. It took 14 days to travel 350 miles! Their tracking is an illusion. I...

Ford F150 2.7L Twin Turbo Motor

Most of my wife's family worked for Ford. My father-in-law retired from our local Ford plant as well as two of my brother-in-laws. They all worked on the assembly line. I had another brother-in-law that retired from our local dealership as a mechanic after 25 years. They all have/had their...

Ford F150 2.7L Twin Turbo Motor

Yes I'm an old skool gear head and make no apologies for it.....:cool2: With that being said I don't have anything against new tech stuff either. I actually like both....but have my preferences as most people do. ;)

Ford F150 2.7L Twin Turbo Motor

Not according to this. I can't speak to the accuracy of it anymore than the accuracy of what you say. I prefer V8's... some don't. When it's your money I say spend it on what makes you happy. https://www.carscoops.com/2015/01/ford-official-we-will-not-drop-v8-from

Ford F150 2.7L Twin Turbo Motor

If I'm going to spend 50/60K on a new truck it's going to have a V8. But that's just me. I'm 64 and retired and probably only average around 5,000 miles a year now, so fuel mileage is a non issue for me, never has been actually. I have been looking at new F150's myself but can't justify it...

Ford F150 2.7L Twin Turbo Motor

I would go for the 5.0 V8 myself. I have my reservations about the reliability and longevity of itty bitty motors with power adders...especially in a truck. Trucks should have V8's! YMMV

Is Jonesy still on the forum?

Yes. Look in the Vendors classifieds.

    AARP

Nope....for reasons that aren't allowed to be discussed here. I'm 64 and been throwing their $hit in the trash for 14 years or so.

    Just gets worse..

@ Scooter & Rob...thanks guys. She is in a better place now. The way in which she was living the last 5 years wasn't living but just existing. SGeoff wasn't trying to derail your thread, just pointing out things could always be worse.

    Just gets worse..

I be pi$$ed off too if I thought she was taken advantage of due to her age... but if nothing else be glad she is still with you. My mom had Alzheimers/dementia and spent the last 5 years in a nursing home, at a 100K per year, and just passed away last week. She would have been 91 next month...

SICK AND TIRED OF THESE "SAD" DEATHS......

http://www.tompetty.com/statement Our family sat together this morning with the Medical Examiner – Coroner’s office and we were informed of their final analysis that Tom Petty passed away due to an accidental drug overdose as a result of taking a variety of medications. Unfortunately Tom’s...

    Do I want a 5e3 Deluxe clone?

He certainly is. I went with the 35 watt OT and tube rectifier. At some point in the future I might try some 6V6's. I have considered selling my 66 Bassman & 67 Bandmaster, but I have had them for so many years they are probably here to stay.
