    Anyone play one of these?

Thank you. It's sat in my lap right now. 336-1 by Les PaulBearer posted Apr 3, 2018 at 11:09 PM 336-2 by Les PaulBearer posted Apr 3, 2018 at 11:09 PM 336-3 by Les PaulBearer posted Apr 3, 2018 at 11:09 PM 336-4 by Les PaulBearer posted Apr 3, 2018 at 11:09 PM

    Anyone play one of these?

It feels much closer to a Les Paul to me - weight and size, it feels like a very light solid body. The construction is amazing, hats off to the Custom Shop, it plays and sounds great.

    Anyone play one of these?

Thanks. I still can't believe I paid so little, I get trapped playing it all the time, it was great value for money.

    Anyone play one of these?

Maybe I have stranger tastes than I thought. It seemed like such a good idea to me to make (slightly larger than) Les Paul sized carved arch top, the reality didn't disappoint me - it was exactly what I expected.

    Anyone play one of these?

The body is the same kind of size but the shape is slightly different, weight is totally different. Only played a 339 once and it didn't feel as similar as I thought it would. Construction is totally different, the 339 I played seemed to have a 50s neck which made comparison harder, you'd have...

    Anyone play one of these?

I always think my one seems Gibsony as fuck, only guitar I ever owned that people often ask to play if they see it. Most people who have say "It feels pretty much like a Les Paul with a 60s neck.". I'd love a 335, played loads, as I've worked in shops and several friends have them, never owned...

    Anyone play one of these?

Pretty much a hollowed out Les Paul with f-holes, certainly that is what it sounds like. It plays so well and the baby 335 thing is great, looks so cool. I wanted one for ages and mentioned this to a mate who had a store. He said some idiot asked to play this one and scratched the top -...

    Anyone play one of these?

I'm quite surprised that I've been left hanging, I thought they were a bit more popular than that. It's a 2007 CS336 I got it for about $1500 new - frightening stuff. It had a tiny mark on the top so a friend sold it to me from his shop for peanuts.

Anyone play one of these? The one on the right. I'm assuming quite a few people on here have something that looks like the one on the left. 2004 Les Paul Standard and CS336 by Les PaulBearer posted Apr 3, 2018 at 6:46 PM LP Standard next to my CS336 by Les PaulBearer posted Mar 26, 2018 at 8:34 PM

LP - Exhibit your '50's Wiring?

On the 2004 Standard I tried to get close to pictures of '59 wiring, the wood is painted the same colours as the wood in the body cavity. Tried to get the same sized and shaped solder puddles on the top of the pots and get similar angles on the components. It's all fun though - I thought, why...

LP - Exhibit your '50's Wiring?

It's easy stuff. If you need advice feel free to ask, definitely improved (for me) the way the controls work and a fun mod.

This is a Tokai I did too. The LP2004 Standard got the full treatment but I wanted to leave as much of the original Tokai stuff in this LS-150. The blue cloth wiring is therefore original.

NGD 2010 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Plus...and some decisions to make

That's probably the best reason to make any cosmetic change. I'll be interested to see how it comes out.
