Hi guys can some of you guys name me some well-known guitar store names in the uk? I'm looking to buy a fender reverb unit since the US does not sell the 220/240v version(Not that i know of).
If you guys know where i can find a 220/240v version in the us. Let me know.:thumb:
Personally I'm not sure how deep should i ream, you mention when i see the edge flush with the headstock, i should stop. how do i know when that happens, never seen the reamer in person.
In which direction would you turn? And what's the purpose of tightening it? Is it a must?
So if you got your handle from sears, what did all the other guys use?
So you're saying just turn it clockwise all the way in since it is safe? The link provided here from stewmac is the right bit right?
Yeap on a gibson r8. Just using a screwdriver for this?
Cool link, could you give me a link to where you got the handle? Preferably if it's available from stewmac. I checked with shears, handling charges costs are too high.
Sorry but being new to this,
Did you ream the hole all the way in?
After reaming it, what else did you do...
Sorry not to confuse you, when i meant historic, i meant a 2012 custom shop reissue:D
I just love the looks of a grover kidney tuner on a lp. A little off topic, anyone know where i can get slightly aged gold grover kidney tuners?
Hi guys I'm looking for a luthier in texas who can help me install a set of grover kidney tuners on my les paul. Anyone knows one? Usually what kind of price should i be looking at for a service like this?
Sounds like electrolysis. What kind of wire do you have in mind? When you mentioned moving the wire all over the bridge, it does have to be in the salted water right?
Sounds a little non-natural to me. "Removing the nickle", all i want is to make it non-gloss.
