Thanks guys!
They're probably considered junk by the tube aficionados, but I really like how they sound. I'll be buying more for future 6V6 builds.
I'm curious what you guys think of them.
I bought three sets of these tubes, but can't remember where. Does anyone recognize them?
If I remember correctly they were cheap, but they sound great.
Being a pretty technical software guy from WAY BACK, I hate to admit finding FB the most unintuitive piece of software I've every tried to navigate. It's horrible! Fortunately my son has done all the work for me. And we're just getting started!
Just a bit.

That's pretty cool!
Mud, you're right about the orientation. The tank is extremely susceptible to EMF, and the external grounding has to be done very carefully. Tube and transformer placement are important.
Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words.
It really is a wicked sounding amp. It only does one thing, but it does it well.
Gotta love those Weber alnicos!
Go placidly amidst the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and...
Dust yes, and vibration. They don't provide any EMF shielding. However, layout is very important with a reverb circuit, as is the internal & external grounding scheme. The circuit is very prone to grounding issues and noise, and voltage sensitive.
