I prefer using the dsl40 i have, the 100watt stack is too loud tho my neighbours say they don't mind i first want to find a good attenuator to mellow it down a little. I only was able to play it full blast at the place i bought it from. For me it was also a piece i could not resist at the price being asked for it....

I use my other amps more as well but a quality tube OD/distortion pedal can tame the beast and still get the great tone you can only get from a good tube amp & quad with the added benefit of additional EQ options. I considered an attenuator but they suck tone and the good ones aren't cheap. I also read they can fry the power amp and other components on occasions so decided against it.
