I went to Lowe’s to get something for “summer” last week. It’s hot and the end of July/early-August.

Okay, two can play this game.. I officially declare Xmas and NYE prime rib season..

..NOW. Right friggin' now.

I want to see potatoes; baked, mashed, twice-baked.

And beef gravy from pan drippin's. And au' jus.. Spring garden veggies, steamed.

And horseradish. No, not that creamed nonsense. Real, head-pounding stuff for my prime rib.

And BERRY pie. Blackberries are gone by mid-September.

BTW, three-month Halloween is cancelled. Back to ONE night only. Too bad, kiddies.
