As much as I love summer in Michigan, I have to admit I'm looking forward to autumn.

How did you all fare today?

Just fine. It's just another day in florida, bro.

People down here are this is the worst and just wait till august.

I always reply, "that's like a great summer day, go to chicago in february and tell me how bad it is here in august."

It's not that bad, you just take breaks and hydrate if you're working outside, go inside every twenty minutes.

Just hunkered in the house all day, most blinds closed, de-humidifier and fan kept it really nice.

Sister is up at Higgins Lake for the week; can't imagine they took the boat out.

Good rain meandering thru now; knocked it down to 72.
Big time petrichor aroma in air.

It's nice up there. I'll bring the steaks and corn on the cob, you cook 'em up.

There's an outdoor stand over by the fire dept..... best run over there tomorrow.
Haven't checked them out this year yet.

We've been in our usual 21C-23C, 70F-73F Summer temps here & that's sweaty enough for us Lancastrians. :thumb:
Well, we Western-Europeans have had our temp anomaly already in june... Copernicus temp anomaly . That said, better get used to it. We are now globally at ~ +1.3°C (slowly dipping under the record 2023-2024 El Nino years) but with current policy projections we'll end up at ~ +3°C (this doesn't sound like a lot but 4°C is the difference between a full on ice-age and now)

Freaking awful in Toledo and I was out working in that shit all day :( Business owners feel sorry for you though and give you cold water all day. I took am looking forward to autumn. It's been a brutal summer. When it's not 100 degrees it's torrential downpours. So if it's going to rain some normal rain would be nice for once.

Agreed, rainfall for the week comes in a couple hours rather than being spread out over the week.

I can’t ever remember a time when the heat bothered me this much, it’s been horrible
