exploring before Tripod comes home tomorrow.

Since I was never a cat guy, I didn’t realize the subtle differences from dogs.

But I’m convinced they “map” the house spatially, in 3D, and memorize amazing details.
They know where everything is, every hiding spot, every bit of cover, every high spot where they can leap to and from.

In far more detail than any dog.

After seeing Bill go from a tiny, curious kitty to a full-grown Tomcat, it’s even more fun watching Bonnie as she puts it all together.

You’re in for some fun!

Great news! What is this one's story?

cheers.
i wanted a playmate for Tripod, or Trips, as some have already nicknamed him.

always wanted a second dog, but couldn't with Noelle. we found her (the female tabby) at the SPCA yesterday.

she was funny, we got home, i let her out of the carrier and instant defense mode. hid under the couch for a few hours before emerging to bitch at me. by 10pm she was sleeping at the foot of my bed. at midnight she was curled between my legs.

she found the litter box and used it last night, so we should be good there.

she sure did, she walked the perimeter several times. this morning she was balled up in the back of my closet (no closet doors yet), behind my duffel bag.

a little ninja that one.

We have a no-kill animal shelter ran by the city here in TorC,.. I get to visit al the critters anytime i like,.. i haven't taken any of them home, but i have donated quite a bit of cash over the years. I have came close many times,.. I'll have to wait until I'm fully retired. In about 6 more months i can seriously think about bringing one home.

My sister had a rescue; liked to nurse on her earlobe, always.
Whole life.
Would eat anything, with passion.
Corn, green beans, anything.
