Wait a minute - so you're telling me I have to either agree with Leee or agree with Steve?
I have to admit, the boy had a point.
He did a diatribe a good while back about em. I had just installed some and disagreed with most of what he said. He did make a point about the wheel coming loose that I totally disagreed with....until I checked and sure enough he was right. I can't even remember what it was, but I bet he lets us know. I doubled checked my Allen screws and haven't had any issues. I can attest that if you have a 335 any any kind of gut, they'll hurt you. I use Dunlops on those, even though I don't really trust the design. I have both old and new schaller's on others and both like em and trust em more. Have to keep the nut driver handy to tighten up the nut on the old style on anything other than a really thin strap.

Dad used to like watching golf.

Watching golf on TV in the 60's on a somewhat snowy TV channel thru all that glass left something to be desired.
You never saw the ball 'til it stopped.
Favorite expression on a long-sunk putt...."Just like it had eyes."

Interesting. Mine has a little screw in the side of the wheel. Tighten the wheel, then tighten the screw and the wheel can't turn. I've just checked mine. Won't loosen at all.

Obviously things can work loose over time. It'll go on the twice-yearly maintenance checklist, just as the normal strap buttons were.

JUST LIKE ON TV!
DR trimmer mower is pretty bad-ass.
Better than I expected.

Weeds have hit 6 feet around the chicken coop, and this thing destroys them.
Stalks better than an inch in diameter.

And it’s light enough that the wife can maneuver it with no trouble.
This was her first pass.

Gave Bonnie a short piece of the trimmer line to chew on, and she loves it.
It’s serrated, and grippy.
When she grabs it with her claws, it grabs her back!

And she chews on it like she is teething.

DR strings.

More memories than I count doing that with dad.

People who abandon animals at public places are assholes.

Found a dog at the church last weekend and I ended up taking him home to take care of him.

Took him to the vet to be scanned for microchip and did not have one. Drove around to houses nearby where I found him to ask people if he was lost and no one claimed him.

Friday night he started having multiple seizures so I rushed him to the emergency vet. He had more seizures on the way and while entering the vet, another seizure. They got him on some medication to stabilize but had another seizure and decided it was best to not let him suffer any longer and had to have him put down.

I stayed with him until his last breath to make sure he knew he was cared for and not alone to see him off on his final journey home.

There’s not one single emoji that works for that post.
You did the right thing.
Sorry outcome.
Hats off to you.

If I was un-catch-able, I'd hot dog it up on 18.

You know, one-arm swing the tee shot....work the crowd a little.
Strut like Freddie at Live Aid...
Nah, boring is Scotties style. I'd have to put that as one of the most boring final rounds of a Major that I can remember.

Pool party invited guests arriving soon.
