Okay, going full on Oxblood Les Paul now ...

This is a 2023 LP Std-60 - Flame Top - Translucent Oxblood that I got as a NOS clearance in very late 2024. Credit goes to GC to help me find a flamey, good weight, and un-played example. The guitar is just flawless along with being a tone and sustain monster.

Its new mods:
- Plain TRC
- Kluson Revolution tuners
- (as an homage to the Jeff Beck Oxblood Les Paul) Removed the pickup covers

I love a good oxblood.
Bought a Deluxe from a forumite many years back and it's a rare dark oxblood. Being a 1980 model and made in Kalamazoo I do wonder if it was a custom order.

That’s a real unicorn. Most of the Oxblood have tops that are lacking to say the least.

Nice, dig the color!

Congratulations on tracking down such a great guitar. Translucent Oxblood that provides sufficient red to actually be real oxblood is a wonderful color and hard to find since for some reason many oxblood finishes simply look black. I hate the name of the "oxblood" finish, but love the look.
