Had a storm blast through and knock some lines down....

Rewatching the Shooter series on Prime now, had a couple of Jack Links, good to go...

Pure silver usually .999 / .9999 right on the coin.
Could be pure silver clad, as it were.

Waaaaiiiiit..... I think that website is bogus.

Neato one at JM Bullion; but the back side* leaves something to be desired. Pass.

Or 'other side' as the numismatists call it.

Holding steady at $38 / oz still.
Ya, I don't care for the novelty coins with obvious mint marks.
There was a Walking Liberty with a big dot right on her waist... ruined the look.
I have a few "novelty" coins... got a couple of the 2oz Egyptian god series for my wife, and some 1oz and a 2oz "45/47".... and the Indian Head/Buffalo 1oz.
Other than that... (36oz?) it's all treasury minted from the US, Canada, or UK.... Chaz and Liz Maple Leafs (leaves?)
I buy the 1oz coins in groups of 10.
Figured they'd make good gifts for family members and friends.
But my OCD won't let me break the sets.

I can't find the mint mark on the Indian/Buffalo, but pretty sure it's not US Mint, given it is emblazoned "1OZ .999 FINE SILVER" and there is no face value.

I'm trying to use my agricultural influence to engineer a Wed / Thur cut cycle.
It's working.

Need water saffening slat.

I mean softener salt.

Waiting for coffee jolt.

Curious ....

What year did you open for business and what influences made you pick that line of work?
Two entirely different questions.

We came here in '88. I was a corporate director with the parent company. Road warrior. It was a bankrupt 18 month old franchise. I was young and cocky and said I could fix it, so they made me a deal.

Food service: never dreamed of it. Never did the busboy or dishwasher thing as a kid. Never on my radar. In '75 I was running a chain clothing store. (a groovy 70's jeans store). I was single and hung out at an upscale steakhouse/bar right next me. Had a nice lounge with comfy chairs and couches and a really good guy on acoustic in the corner. I guess I was sorta the "Norm" there. Spent a ton of time in there playing pong and backgammon. The manager approached me and said they had an ass't mgr opening and since I was in there all the time anyway, I should take it. ...and so it begins
