Well this is now the last guitar that I picked up on Monday. Most of you here aren’t gonna like how I got it. I traded my new Les Paul for it. I’m just a Fender guy at heart and I have been gassing for one of these bad. I drove 4 1/2 hours one way to get it too. I just could not resist it. It is a Fender American Vintage II 1961 reissue in fiesta red. I’m am super happy with it and even though I lost some cash value in the trade not to mention the time it took to go get it I am so glad I made the trade. Here are a couple of photos of it. More pictures under NGD post under Fender forum.

Yes, that is one killer guitar. I really like that one, and Fender Strats in general. I have a couple premium MIA Strats and even a MIM one, and they are all just stellar. I can't live without a 22nd fret, but that is just my preference only. I have a feeling that this coming holiday season there will be lots of good deals, so you will get your chance at another Les Paul down the line if you wish. Enjoy that one!

All your guitars are amazing, but let's see Paul Allens'....
2017 SG Standard Gold Series in red wine.
Still had the plastic over the pickguard when the fella I bought it from gave it to me. Gifted to him from his family, never played, only kept regularly tuned in its case (a brown/purple one, to boot). It still smells like new!!
Got lucky for sure

2025 Standard 60, I brought it 3 weeks ago. Finally got a replacement for the Les Paul Custom I let go 35 years ago

'18 Paul Reed Smith S2 Studio in Frost Blue Metallic... Traded a '20 Epiphone LPC JB Black Beauty and '18 Gibson LP Tribute Goldtop that weren't getting any play time for it.

Feels, plays and sounds incredible.
