Separated by a common language. This is what a dress belt looks like in my world, and with the greatest respect to Sonar it looks better on the model.

I was such an OCD maniac about "taking stuff along" when I travelled. I worked very hard to remove every inch of space, and every ounce of weight, from my backpack and carry on.

Just last week I finally threw out my dress belt. It was a reversible. Brown/Black. I was not carrying anything more than I needed. :laugh2:

Angela keeps me in "dress belts" ... really just a suit for whatever occasion she deems it is required.

Almost had to wear one to a funeral. I went with jeans, dress shirt, and sports jacket. Every dude there ... we looked the same. Yeah! Don't need no suit.

Dress belt. Well it was not the worst belt I had. But I do have a leather "dress" belt. Can't remember the last time I wore it. Was not that funeral. I went with the casual belt.

A funeral… yeah… I probably need to get my wife’s opinion on what I have now.
Don’t know if I even have “funeral” attire.

Dark blue and/or charcoal suit, lace-up black shoes (perhaps a nice cap toe), white/tan/paleblue shirt (pointed or spread collar.. .never button down), complimentary paisley or solid contrasting color tie.

It works for weddings, funerals, formal dinner parties, interviews, church of any type, court, yada-yadda-yadda.

It's the foundation upon witch a gentleman's wardrobe is built.

Over my life, I worked sound on two different productions of Bye Bye Birdie....

I would hear "We love you Con...rad....oh yes we doooooo...." at the oddest times....

Damnit. Now I need to listen to Dreggs' Kat Food to get it out of my head again....

Last one, I think every rat bastid backstage shook the can of beer before that scene. When he popped it, it shot straight up into the electrics right into the diaphragm of a hanging $1000+ Neumann mic.... Damnit man..... Didn't kill it though....

Solid advice – duly noted.

Just go easy on that “gentleman” shit.
I have a reputation to maintain. :naughty:

Yeah that was the one where I used the Jazzmaster.
Way hard reading! I had yellow post-it’s all over that book!

I left one in when the books went back to NYC:
“…If you can sight read this stuff you’re a much better musician than me!”

I tells ya', electric bikes got these kids out of the house around here.

Zippin' around with their zippin' and their zoppin' and their bippin' and their boppin'.
With no Game-boy® in hand.

I woulda been koo-koo for Coco Puffs for one age 10-14.

Father Grape: "You have a bike."
