Z,I like the comedic HEAVINEss. I listen to all music yes,I like Cookie Monster vocals. I have Swedish BLACK METAL blood. I'd post a vid but YouTube keeps wanting updates,no go. I played NIB in 90's ,also Sweetleaf. I like Buttholes Sweet Loaf....all Sab is great even shitty covers. Riffs are so pure.Youtube is littered with Sabbath cover songs ......
Scrolling thru YouTube several nights ago I ran across this.....
Instantly put a big ass smile on my face.
Had to grab my Airpods and get a better listen.....now I'm grinning.
For some reason the mild chaos on the vocals had me thinking of @Tim Fezziwig .......
Pretty sure Tim doesn't do alot of modern Metal......??
I know this one isn't everyone's cup of tea.....but it tickles my balls greatly......love it.
I bought the 2 song EP off Itunes immediately.....great purchase "Throes of Grief " is a killer track as well.....
So while your digging thru the Backstage looking/hoping for some Friday drama....
Maybe post up your favorite Sabbath covers.....
After all.....they are the greatest Rock band of all time......

This is an actual surf band doing instrumental surf covers of Sabbath.
I couldn’t find a video, but they have a Bandcamp page where you can listen, and even download for free
You can also download their cover of Symptom of the Universe (My favourite of theirs)on a pay what you want basis.
Of course you can tip the free download.

I prefer covers that take chances, sometimes they work, like some in this thread.
Some don’t.
But I get it, they’re having fun.
