however, aside the 1 car garage, this place ticks a lot of boxes. i could store the yaks and my bro's RV next to the garage. this is a big plus.

nice place, but one of the nicest houses in that little neighborhood.

told the realtor to make the other house happen.

i want that oversized 2 car garage and pimp ass kitchen.

thought the same thing. nice place, but not like the other.

my realtor called this place over rehabbed. it's beautiful. the bathroom mirrors have power switches and both heat and cool themselves.

but it would probably have issues with appraisal as it's the nicest house, by far, on that block.

i always thought, buy the cheapest house on the block and fix it up vs buy the nicest house on the block.

Low roof.
Should be less susceptible to storm damage.
Eaves stick out far enough to keep most of the rain from hitting your windows.

I don’t mind low flat ceilings at all, but it can make the house seem really loud and brassy with hardwood floors.
A few area rugs will go a long ways!

Now, get with the Florida experts around you and figure out what you need to do to cut plywood for all of your windows.
Get all the screws and hardware you need to board up your house in the face of a nasty hurricane.

Mark everything clearly, and store your “hurricane kit” neatly in the garage where you can get to it.

Remember, worst case scenario, you might not have electricity when you decide to board up your house and GTFO.
