I neglected to include my Stratocaster Thinline in that semi-hollow pic.

2012, from Japan.
Supposedly has Tim Shaws in it.

I really wanted a '34 Burst finish but missed one. I found this ebony 2018 Memphis ES-235 in an Alberta Long & McQuade and had it shipped to L&M in Eastern Ontario. The previous owner added the LP guard and traded it in with a generic 339 case. It has a couple of blems but it was cheap. 8 digit serial, ABR-1 on posts.

If you look up Nashville ES-235, there are very few hits. Most were built in Memphis. I found this unsold late 2019 online at a Toronto store Dec 2021. 9 digit serial, ABR-1 into studs. As new.

May I ask what model that is?

Thank you! It’s a Cool Z ZSA-RV from Japan (Fujigen), made for a big retailer there (Shimamura). It’s not light at 8+ pounds, but the closest I’ve had to my ’70 335 (P90s non withstanding) in 45 years! Dream guitar; plays amazingly. Last weekend’s gig (wedding) got many compliments. Recent-ish P90 convert

The rare ES 335 (type) with P-90s always sound incredible. :thumb:

Yes, you’re right. It’s a Joe Bonamassa Signature model.

I believe it’s a ’61 reissue, equipped with ’57 Classic pickups and a slightly thinner ‘59-style neck.

It’s a really great instrument.
