Wednesday slack day Texas coffee on. Had a pretty good one roll through about 4:00 that gave us an inch in a hurry. Scared Moxie. She told me to scoot over and let her up.

Feels like Fryday Midwest re-heat on.
Hedge trim weed wack scheduled.
Might get ambitious and edge driveway.

Careful scooping up those grass strips.

Yesterday I gave a hearty scoop to one of them and the plastic handle on the shovel broke. The sharp edges on the part that remained caught my leg pretty good. Kept looking for a blood stain on pants but nothing so kept going. Definitely got a workout on the neighbor's corner lot.

Looks like the last hurrah of rain chances this afternoon and tomorrow. Hopefully misses us. I'd like to golf tomorrow and they were hoping it was dry enough to pick up the waste roll off at mom's.

Get past that and it looks like Summer may finally be here.

Got coffee and eyeballing an egg sammich for breakfast. Got a jalapeno all picked out.

Then grocery shopping.

We are almost back to normal. Slept the night through until 0730.

Sumatra coffee this morning is good, but I still yearn for coffee in Paris.

And, the sun is out.

Looks like it's gonna be a great day.

We got 1.15 inches of rain this morning.

I’ve been using a black and decker edgehog for about 20 years.

I think real edgers edging looks better than the weedeater edging.

Efstop would figure out how to install Windows 11 on it

One more project on schedule for today. I was out locking our gate after the lawn guy was done and notice something hanging from a web off the gutter.

Dang! A bagworm!!!

Closer inspection of our little cedars revealed that indeed bagworms are on the move. Time to get em while they're young.

So off to get some spray and hit those trees.

Here is one of them nasty little buggers. They'll rip a cedar tree up in no time. They are about a 1/4" long now, but will grow to about 4X that big and eat a lot of cedar along the way.

Yeppers.... that's what I use.

Another neighbor has one of the old manual edgers aka blister machine. Went over there a couple weeks back and told him, "I edge, you shovel".

Got everything done but along curb.

Him.... "Just leave that. The street sweeper just went through and I don't want to make a mess".

Me... "That's a lame excuse you lazy ass".

He laughed and we finished the job.

I can't remember if I had Echo or Stihl, but I had an edger attachment for the weed eater.

But no neighbor. I had to edge and shovel.
