I don’t know why this crossed my mind.

Nathan Lane, with Robin Williams in a movie called “The Birdcage.”
Even had Gene Hackman in it.

Nathan Lane’s character - talk about GAY.
My wife at the time wanted to see it.
Aw, jeez…

Saw the previews, decided to chance it.

OMG it was funny.
A few scenes made me squirm.

I dunno.
This is 30 years ago.
I don’t really remember anything specific about it, but the impression I remember is that I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.

And I’m not gay.

What if Richard was faking it all along just so he could hang out in the women’s showers?
What if right before he died, he reached out and honked the nurse’s boobs, chuckled a little, and breathed his last?
I seriously think that could have happened...

That nurse would have been so confused.

Died with a boner...

cheers.

Depends on where you live. :naughty:

Up north, in the snowy climes?
Sure.

In Texas, or Florida, and such?
It’s a statement of allegiance.
What about across the pond in London?

So Gibson made a "one-off" guitar with 5 of the rainbow colors?
Outrageous!

I foresee a lot of Gibson owners liquidating their whole collection!
:naughty:

What about across the pond in London?
Oh - in Ol’ Blighty?

That entire culture is gay.
I mean, from a Texan’s perspective.
Shouldn’t be a problem.

OK, seriously, I spent a month in the UK about 25 years ago.
Mostly in Scotland.

Our cultures would be similar, right?
We speak the same language, right?

WRONG.

I was lost as a goose in a hail storm the whole time I was there.
Especially in Scotland, I couldn’t understand a goddamn word they said.

And the coined money?
I never did figure it out.

Of course.
Same for any disease.
120/80 used to be textbook blood pressure. Now, 125/85 is "pre-hypertensive" (despite you can get 10 point swings in an hour)
The autism "spectrum" continues to be expanded... to the point that virtually any child can be tagged in some way.
Boys being boys are now ADHD and must be drugged.

It all supports taxpayer funding for the machine, but the root causes are ignored, or even encouraged.
About the blood pressure --- Mine was textbook, or just a hair below for most of my life. I forget what it is now, not a whole lot higher if I rest before the reading (I'm 72 after all) but ALL OF A SUDDEN I am hypertensive and borderline "better watch out".

I smell some bull shit.

Been there done that.
Sitting in the Urgent Care for an ear infection and they flipped out when they took my BP.
It was somewhere in that range.
5 different people asked if I was having chest pains and if I felt dizzy.

No... I just want something for my fucking earache.
"They" never tell anyone --- severe excruciating pain makes your BP go nuclear.
