Are "Flerfers" for real?

Flerfers. Flat Earthers for those who didn't know. Is this a real thing? It seems lately, the almighty algorithm has decided I need to know all about these people who allegedly believe the earth is flat. I can't tell if it's all a big joke, or are these people for real? There seems to be a lot of it and it doesn't appear to be satire.

I mean, I'm not even basing my opinion on the subject on anything from NASA (who they claim lie about everything), or any science (who they say is all fake), or really any source in particular. I mean, I've been on an airplane. You can literally see the curvature of the earth. They probably have some explanation for that like all the windows are fisheye lenses or something, but I've stood on mountain tops high enough to see it too. It seems so stupid, but they have dug their heels in so deep on the subject.

I'm surprised at how much of this stuff there is about this. It's all over YouTube and Facebook. On both sides. There are the flerfers themselves posting stuff, but then there are successful channels dedicated solely to debunking the flerfers. And not in small numbers. There are channels with hundreds of thousands of subscribers watching this shit constantly.

So what say you Backstage? Have you all been duped into believing the earth is round or what's going on with this?

Now the real one you have to give credence to is that Bird's aren't real. They are listening devices used by the Government to listen to all of conversations. Go look it up...and DONT SAY ANYTHING AROUND THE BIRDS!!!

Yeah, because it's not like we've all got an electronic device on us all the time that has a microphone, camera and GPS built in. I'm sure it's more likely the gubment faked the existence of birds rather than just use those devices.

Well, the earth is mostly water, all of it uncarbonated. So technically it is flat.
