These new pedals are using Mullard OC78D transistors, and frankly, it sounds amazing. Perfect for early Zeppelin with both my Les Paul and Telecaster.
Nice. I've owned two of David's MK-II builds, one in the big enclosure looks yours and a compact one, and they both sounded glorious. I bet it pairs great with that Marshall.
If you don't mind: Did you order it from Macari's or buy it on the secondary market?
Congrats and HNPD!
David Main's contract with Macari's only allows him to sell his D*A*M builds in Asia, so they can only be acquired elsewhere on the secondary market (kind of like Yamano LPs). Here is the one I had:They make a reg size one? Interesting.
For any owners of this model - if you dime it as intended is there a volume boost?
I can't see the head but those two guitars and that stack would be enough for me for the rest of my life.View attachment 856203

I believe OP built a 1959hw stack in quick orderI can't see the head but those two guitars and that stack would be enough for me for the rest of my life.
would I be correct that it sounds best going into an amp already overdriven (or at least on edge of breakup) and not necessarily clean?
