OK, Ladies & Gentlemen... we're outta here in a bit.

Catch y'all on the return - a week from Monday.

Cocksuckers :laugh2:

Have fun, dipshit. Don't get locked up over there...

Oh, if you do get locked up, rest assured, we'll take up a collection...

Not for bail money but a "They got Steve" party....

Have fun, asshole, and you and yours come back safe....

There was a Henry on Antiques Roadshow that was Ah-mazing.

Since ignorant of guns, I never heard of. It was cool as heck.
Looked like it was forged with anvil, hammer, fire, files, blood and sweat.

New Haven Arms, later renamed Winchester Repeating Arms built that rifle.... .44 Henry rimfire caliber, it was a game changer as it held a bunch of rounds in the tube stack mag... State of the art for the time...

Later evolved to this historical rifle.... One of the most desirable, sought after, utility rifles in history outside the Armalite copies now... Just something magical about a lever gun.... Love Henry, WInchesters, and Marlin lever guns....

I used to have a Springfield 45-70 trap door, that was used in the Spanish American war, but some dickweed broke into my house and stole it back in the 70’s.

My daughter has a Ruger 45-70 she hunts moose and bison with in Alaska, where she lives.

Thos were the first .22mag rifles I've owned...

Have .17HMR and .22LR super accurate rifles with the Savages but SHTF type hunting and <cough> other, .22mag will get it done at range.... .22mag is more deadly than some may thing... for that matter, .22LR is more deadly than folks believe... IF you can shoot.

My Savages are like this one but scoped.... that AccuTrigger system IS amazing... unreal accuracy...

Pretty much identical to my 'hit what I want to hit' rifle. Scoped Axis with an Accu-Trigger in a Boyd's stock.

Always had a jones for a Marlin .45-70 (or .444Mar, not picky) stainless breakdown lever rifle... Short with a thick barrel.... Can back down about anything on this continent....with extreme prejudice...
