Do you think they'd finish together ?

What about 2 fraternal twin lesbian gals. How would they even know when it's finished ??

The things that keep me up at night.

What was this thread about again?

Oh right....... it's nuts how easy I get off topic.

Mayo or Miracle Whip?
Easy answer.
Neither.

In fact, I will substitute sour cream if I’m creating a tuna salad or such.

I'm a pretty boring guy. Just give me the greasy stuff. Meat, cheese, grilled onions, and whatever normal sauce goes on it.
I’m boring too, when it comes to burgers. And I won’t give anyone that latitude - choosing what they think is a “normal source” for me.
Mustard - that’s it.

Why does a hamburger have to be so difficult? We just went through this at a pretentious restaurant in Buena Vista, Colorado.

Their menu lists a dozen fabulous burgers, with every manner of superfluous topping.

Had to have a heart-to-heart with the clearly smoked-up waiter - to ensure his understanding that I’m just a grumpy old man who likes food simple.
Especially if I am paying dearly for it.

So let’s do the double meat -
“Um, OK.”
Cheddar cheese -
“Gotcha.”
And all I want on the burger is pickles, onions, and lotsa mustard.
Just keep it simple.

I saw the wheels attempting to turn behind his puzzled face, and then noticed that there was a bottle of mustard already on the table.
So that simplifies things.
And I said so.

We already have mustard here.
Good deal!
So just put pickles and onions on it.
We’ll be good.

His facial expression indicates that he is still doing college level math.
So I repeat myself for clarification.

Double meat, cheddar, pickles and onions, and that’s it. Right?

“That’s right. I got it.”

They got pretty close, except for missing that extra hamburger patty that they charged me five dollars for.
We never saw the waiter again until we had all finished eating.
He asked how it went, and we all agreed that it was fine - as long as I don’t get charged for the extra hamburger patty that never showed up.

Stoner Boy was surprised.
A look of dread came over his face.
He disappears again, to modify the ticket and take off that charge.

All I can figure is that when a restaurant sells fancy, oddball “artisan” burgers then there’s no responsibility to actually get it correct.
You ordered something oddball and different, so you can’t be too surprised when the waiter serves you something oddball and different.

And you’re clearly prepared to pay for it.

Next burger we got was in Cañon City, Colorado. Great burger, but the girl at the the cash register clearly heard me wrong - or hit the wrong button on the register - when I told her I wanted pickles, onions and mustard.
I got pickles, onions, and mushrooms.

Then I had to go back to the counter to get mustard in those tiny little individual packets that I absolutely hate.
The kid gave me three of them.

Oh, no, buddy.
Don’t be so stingy.
Keep it coming!
Then I sat at the table while my burger is cooling off, tearing these goddamn things open with my teeth.

Sadly there's something about Dill Pickles and Raw Onions that just doesn't sit well in my stomach.

Generally, my Burgers are Lettuce, Ketchup, Mustard and Mayo. Occasionally, I'll treat myself to a Canadian Burger which just adds Cheese and Peameal Bacon. I've never asked for mushrooms but I assume I wouldn't mind them.
