… but I just got back from walking downtown to our HUGE annual CelebrAsian festival, wheere I got to watch my trained-chef nephew run his first pop-up Indonesian satay stand. He and his sibs lived in Bali growing up, and he’s looking to open a brick-and-mortar soon, but until then he’s doing a bunch of festivals. Had a great pork belly satay with peanut sauce and spicy hard-boiled egg, washed down with 22 oz of Sapporo. I’ma proud uncle!

That’s him on the right with his older brother (also a chef). His twin sister, who’s a tattoo artist in FL, designed the T-shirt, and I included a picture of her ink on me.







Hey, gimme a f’ckin’ break, will ya! It turned cold that day in March in DSM, I was wearing a sleeveless vest, and my massive pipes was all shriveled up!

Yeah, today I was thinking about how much you post and… oh wait, no I wasn’t.

I’d say ride the festival train while it’s running.
Be happy to offer any consult on brick and mortar when the time comes if he’s interested. That’s a different game and it ain’t as easy as it used to be. I’d be honored to visit with him if and when.
