Oh, heck yeah; Monaco's like going to the bobsledding event in the Olympics.
"Here comes one!"
"There it goes."

I bet Hungary would be good; you can see a lot of track
The old French circuit, too.

Montreal would be awesome, down by the hairpin, like you said.

Gatherin' materials... I hope the tree surgery didn't dis-place anybody.
I don' think so.

Mayhap after the young 'uns have flown, they move.

Tyler has the same PC motherboard that I do. Same amount of RAM, same size drive. Mine has a faster processor and a beefier power supply. I updated my BIOS a few days ago to the latest version, but getting Tyler away from his PC long enough to update the BIOS is... difficult.
Anyway, it's done. BIOS updates, reboots and then the LED firmware updates. And it reboots again for "ME update" which is microcode for the Intel Management Engine processor embedded in the CPU.
One final reboot into BIOS to set it to factory settings. It takes about 10 minutes to do it all.

do aussie laws allow the processing like america, or do they have similar standards as most of europe?

my understanding and never been there to say first hand, but that the pastas and breads in Europe held more to the old methods and never introduced the over processed flours used in the US.

i could be wrong, but i heard on a health podcast that it's not as bad over there and you can eat more pastas and breads without the dramatic affect it has on health and weight in the US.
My guess is that Aussie food is probably not as processed as your food (yet).

Either our biggest or second biggest pasta brand is Barilla, which is Italian pasta made in Italy. I’m guessing the Aussie brands stick close to the Italian formula and don’t mess around too much with the ingredients…

I’ve eaten bread in the US of A and hands down our bread is (subjectively) much better. The mass produced bread I had in the US had a sweetness (which I don’t like) that we don’t have here, and it didn’t have as much doughy elasticity. I found US of A ůbread seemed crumbier and staler, even when fresh, This is all just personal perception, but I wouldn’t be surprised if even our mass produced food was not as processed as yours is.

Cheers.

Sooooooooo... three hours of Tom and co.

Not even IMAX could save this one. It was meh+, at best.

No spoilers...but, there are a couple of pretty neat twists for people who have "seen 'em all", and no MI film would be complete without the usual tragedy.

Other than that, the only redeeming thing that I can say is (hopefully) it is finally over & done. It ran its course and needed to end. This film provides the opportunity for that.

Only one IMAX worthy scene (bi-planes)... the rest of the "action" was nothing at all spectacular. The usual gunfights, explosions, and suspenseful fighting. :laugh2: It's still always cool to see a film in IMAX.

That was the best part of the experience for me. Three LONG hours, that could (should) have been reduced to two hours.

They managed to inject the ubiquitous Hollywood DEI flavoring, and even gave a vague impression that one of the female sub crew was, er.. ummm... a lesbian. (think the butch from Orange is the New Black).

Myself, I found Rebecca from Ted Lasso to be a less than believable Commander of the Pacific Fleet. JFC and LOL

And, POTUS and the Cheifs... well, see paragraph #6.

In the end: Tom saves the day... again. Hopefully for the last time.

Wifey was stoked at the London scenes, seeing as though we'll be there in a week. Big Ben, Tower, Buckingham, etc.

Hopefully, Big Ben won't explode on us, like it did in the film. :laugh2:

Ooooooppppssss.... spoiler.

Sorry Mrs Steve…

…but they really did blow up Big Ben for that scene. You know little Tom insists that all stunts are authentic!

Cheers.

Ralf was right. It's a weather/pit stop/qualifying race, bit it ain't much of a race race.
Tradition be strong.
Been to six in Montreal....Monaco would be okay to watch in person, but I think Mexico would be a real blast....and a lot closer to home.
I wanted to go to the Las Vegas race, nice and local. Until I saw the ticket prices.

The difference between the F22 and the F/A18 is that the F18 looks like it's doing 1500mph sitting on the ramp.
The F22 looks like it's doing 60 when it's doing 600

The super-cruise feature on an F-22 is a major dealio... Fuel...

Badass can super-cruise at 1.5 Mach without lighting the ass end.... No telling what top is when all lit up... I don't much believe the top numbers on mil aircraft anyway.... Like wattage on many amps... i.e. 100W at a low THD....but that ain't redlining that puppy....

Then there is the dancing that would make Sir Isaac Newton say 'Wait a damn minute here... Gotta be some of that AI shit...' :laugh2:
