Wifey and I are going to the IMAX theater to see this on Friday.
Some films are good only on the BIG screen. These are among them - LOL
Large, comfy electric recliners!

How about thirty-fucking-seven dollars to see a movie... a matinee at that!
Holy shit.

You're paying that much to see THAT movie?!?!?

Yes, unfortunately. That is the cost of an IMAX movie these days.

That franchise has been something we have been watching since the very first one. Some were good, some were very good. Many were bad. But, the stunts and actions scenes are some of the best in the business.

We grew up with the original Mission Impossible TV Show with Peter Graves.

As kids, we watched that show every Sunday night. Then, we watched Carol Burnett afterwards, but that's a rant for another time.

The movie franchise is an extension of that, albeit Tom (pretty boy) Cruise is a douche. I can get past him.

IMAX in Hollywood has been 24.00 per seat. I might go. I could stay at the Chinese and see the new Pink Floyd movie afterwards in Imax

Like Steve says.... Pay once, Cry Once.
In the grade scheme of things, it's probably one of the cheapest "date nights" you can have.
Just be sure to take your own Clorox wipes for the recliner...
