Obviously being 12,932,864th in line to the throne, I continue the Windsor family tradition of not carrying cash. I'm not sure when they'll get round to issuing my Royal Close Protection Officer, but it's got to be any day now.

That's decent for a string-through.
My Squier Mini is a top loader and it was buzzing pretty badly.
Ended up shimming the neck so I could bring the saddles up.
My Tele didn't buzz a ton before shimming it, but the saddles had to be very, very high. The truss rod had to be pretty loose, too. There wasn't more room for adjustment. With the shim, I was able to tighten the truss rod and get rid of some of the relief and really drop the saddles. I've got it strung with 7-38s, tuned to standard, and intonated now.

I'm still trying to figure out how the neck got all out of whack in the first place, but the only thing I can think of is when I traveled with it. I didn't want to check a guitar case, so I took the neck off and shoved everything into my checked bag. When I got to my destination, the headstock was sticking out of the side of the checked bag. I wonder if it got slightly warped due to either the climate changes it went through or from shock from whatever caused it to punch through the side of my bag.

Had a golden finch couple pestering me when I was waiting for the hot water heater, excuse me, the water heater to be installed at the condo.

There were two, so I was wondering if it was mom and dad saying hi.

never saw a finch climb on a screen as if trying to get in.

bfast has been had, 35 bags of mulch, a porch that needs cleaing, and some cans in the driveway that needs a loading. see y'all later brosaphines.

Sounds like things are moving along quickly there, Olds. Sorry if you said and I missed it, but when are you moving?
the estate sale is the end if this month. so a week or so after that. have to get cleaners through and i have a floor guy doing some cleaning and finishing on the wood floors.
guessing june 10-11. car and cans get picked up on the 9 and 10 of june.

then carolyn can sell this place if i don't have it sold by then, a lot of interest from people walking by. we'll see.

Sweet corner, quarter mile away; lady works on it all the time, always has.
You can't get a good look at it driving, tho; blind sweeping turn, you gotta pay attention.
