Ha!
Just broke out my little oscillating fan... got stuffy in here.
The 5pm to 7:30 sun really heats it up... blasts thru the west-end house windows.
At 79 now, 47%.... fan is just right.

Last night's storm was weird.
Approached with deeeep..distant thunder....
Siren started, rain started....
But the wind never came in. Barely. Just a hard rain.

Weirdly calm, the whole time, with deeeeep rolling frequent thunder, like, high altitude lightning an' shit.
Damage and power outs all over the place, but unscathed here.

Phuck! Thought I lost my wallet. Looked and looked. Nothing. Turned in the cards lost. Ordered a new license.

Looked one last time. Found it. Tight between the driver seat and console.

Whew! And shit! All at the same time.

ARRRGGGGG!

Wallet's a personal paranoia with me; I frequently give my pocket a stealthy tap for reassurance.
You know, when walking in a store and stuff.

Here; I'll just broadcast everything that happens to me or has happened and how I feel about every subject that comes up.....

Ditto.
Phones (both of them, though the city phone is usually in my shirt pocket), wallet, pocketknife, hearing aids.... the right side is a CROS unit with no speaker, transmits to the left side, $o I could potentially lo$e that one and not notice immediately... on the plus side, since the only speaker is on the left, when I touch the one on the right, I hear my finger scratch the microphone in my left ear.

When in a moderately crowded place, my left thumb is usually hooked on my back pocket touching my wallet.

Pocket contents remain in the pockets 24/7.
Transfer to clean pants in the morning. No valet tray.

i could do that, but i don't. sometimes it does work out that way.
Goes back to my fear of a house fire as a child.
We never had a fire, but we watched Emergency, and several of my friends had house fires.
Honestly, the place I lived that had screw-in glass fuses, I'm surprised it never burned.

So anyways... if the EDC stuff is always in my pockets, then if I have to scoot in the middle of the night, I'll have everything when I pull my pants on.
