Good morning all, happy Wednesday.
I think I have that one.... I hope you got one of these to go with it. It makes cleaning any flat surface super easy. And, you finish in less than half the time...

Got one of these with our pw, it does work great on the patio tiles.

Kill three of those mother fuckers and another six show up somewhere else.

Because there's always one neighbor that has a whole lot full of them and they spread them to the whole neighborhood and fuck everything up for everybody like Steve's worst nightmare.

The house next to has had 2 owners. Neither of them have taken care of the yard. It’s nothing but weeds. That’s where the crabgrass is coming from too.

I don’t have a problem with dandelions. It’s crabgrass.

Chemicals. Four to six times each year.

Feed the roots. Green the foliage. Balance the pH.

Kill the weeds. Kill the dandelions. Kill the crabgrass. Kill the grubs.

I love the smell of TruGreen in the morning. Smells like... well, you know.

House I had near Houston, I was in the same boat. I had Bermuda grass, and my neighbors on each side had weeds.

I told the story here before, I had the best looking yard on the road.

I edged aggressively with my weedeater a couple times a year, used Roundup in between to kill anything that popped up, and my Bermuda slowly expanded into their yards.
It will choke out anything.

Well, except fire ants.
Fire ants are evil.

It's a losing battle here. If it grows, we water it and mow it. About the time you've put in all the work and got it going your way, we'll go to stage four they'll shut down all landscape watering.

Thursday Texas coffee on. Going out with Aydan for a little while early this morning. Working lunch, then off to see Missy's last game and repo her for another weekend of work.

Oh yeah, lawn chemical warfare. Got most of the weeds under control. Got fertilizer and Ironite down. Roundup the Dallis grass, and the Bermuda will grow back.

Now I'm fighting nutsedge. The front lawn holds some water, which nutsedge loves. Got Image nutsedge killer and trying to figure out how best to use it. Got the first application down.

Also sent some soil off to MySoil to get it tested.

The backyard seems pretty solid, it is the front lawn that needs some help.

But today is road trip up to MO to watch the nieces graduate. Angela driving this trip. I'm the navigator.

Coffee and breakfast taco going down.

I surrendered that battle when I moved out of town. Sold my Honda mulching mower, and bought a chainsaw.

Only things we water now?
The garden and the critters.

We don’t dare step out the door without shoes. Or preferably boots.

I wondered all over my mom's yard barefoot for the last 40 years. Now I won't go out there without shoes. Copperheads everywhere.

When opening the pool a few years ago.

Had her lawn guy clean the flower beds last year. He killed 3 copperheads.

Water moccasins and the occasional rattlesnake are not out of the question either.

I’ll take a rattlesnake any day.
They are usually considerate enough to announce their presence.

More sporting that way.

As far as no shoes?
My “yard” is rock, stickers, cactus needles, and thorny Mesquite shoots.

Morning guys. The only thing likely to ruin my day here is the pollen (high count and no rain to take it out of the air), so I'm counting myself lucky. Enjoy your day all.

Morning, all.
Beautiful day in this neighborhood.
Beautiful enough to start putting the window A/Cs in place today.
Looks like I have a job today.
