Epiphone Widow LPC to be released in 2025

the current administration was saying they're backing off on tariffs to china...so hpoefully teh uptick in cost is temporary.

Geez, guys. Don’t mention anything even remotely connected to politics or politicians, or the thing that rhymes with “sheriff“.

I played two of them at my local GC. They are nice. I plan on getting one....I just don't know when. If you look at past Epiphone Custom GC exclusives, those models have been discounted to $649 for the longest time. That's about the price I'm willing to pay for new because used the value of Epiphones drops like a rock.

I'm liking the Probucker Custom pickups that are in these. They're supposed to be based on the Custombuckers, but Alnico II, and a tad hotter? The neck definitely sounds like has an Alnico II, the bridge kind of does, kind of doesn't? Wasn't expecting it to react to my playing like it is, I actually really like the bass response of the bridge pickup for playing fast stuff. Not sure if it's just the setup or what.

The purple is showing "notify me when this is in stock" (at least right this second -- we all know that GC's web postings can change quickly).

It looks like Indigo is now also sold out in addition to the purple. However, they expect more of both colors back in stock this month. These are advertised as "limited' models which I believe means in this case that they will build to meet demand probably for a year or so, and then will be discontinued.
