Happy Monday everyone.

Rained here all night, and expecting more today. Picked up about 1/2 inch or so in the pool. We needed it!

Having some more coffee and waiting on the next thunderstorm. Won’t be no driving range today. I usually go to the range at Patrick Space Force Base, Manatee Cove GC, but they blow the “quit now” horn if there’s any thunder within 10 miles.

Hell that’s pretty much everyday here in the summer!

I a phukin hate birds!!!!

They try to build nests on very ledge they can find around the house. They make messes with leaves and bird crap everywhere.

I wish every phuckin' bird in the world was dead!!!!

The one closest to the camera goes by the name of Pollyanna and he hand reared her. You can tell by the smile she's the friendly one.

looks wet. we get some showers tomorrow morning.

We're already above our forecast high (exceedingly unusual), and it turned into a decent day. Off to HD, again, cuz I miscalculamated my lumber requirements by just a teensy bit. Finally getting around to making a new top for my deck table.

Yep. Supposed to be raining all day here.
I did manage to walk to the beach and back in between the rain cells.

The ocean was angry today.

I’ve had to put up some of the anti bird wire spikes in the roof of my dock house to keep the damn Doves from building nest and shitting all over the boat!

We have just too many Doves around here.

When they do find a small corner to make a nest, and lay eggs, then I’ve got to take a stick and wrestle the snakes out that climb up and eat their eggs. Our rat snakes can climb like a freaking monkey!
Last thing I need is to get a snake in the boat that comes crawling out of somewhere while under way! My wife would be overboard in a NY second!

Waiting for a callback from wife's local oncologist's office to schedule her annual MRI of her brain for her Duke BTC checkup in June... Clinics for the most part seem to be running a skeleton crew as the norm.... I can call Duke and talk to a human quick, fast, and in a hurry that will help us.... UAB Hosp/Clinics in BHam are like that too... Other places you get tossed in a phone tag hole.....

We were at UAB clinic a good while back and there was a sign on all the end tables in the waiting room with 'If you've been here 15min and nobody has talked to you, please inform the receptionist.." The doc himself came out to call us in...

After our first trip to Duke BTC 20+ years back, I told my wife that if folks ever came up here and experience Duke Univ Hosp/Clinics, they come back home and burn the hosp/clinics to the ground... Amazing place.... as is UAB in Bham.... Just bad it is in Bham...

Edroson goes to UAB as he has probably the most rare strain of CF in existence. Two, 2, 0010, in the entire state. He can probably lift the front end of a car. Genetics lab refer to him by name up there as he is so rare. He has multiple folks assigned to him for direct contact...including a pharmacist. They have him on a med they developed that has his lungs perfectly normal as long as he's on the meds. He has really one trait of CF and the med alleviates the problems with it. Normal. Doc says his lungs are better than hers... They say 5-10 and they'll have a cure. They know how, just haven't the capability yet to do it.

Most places, you can have a 0900 appt and there will be four or five folks with the same time...and the doc ain't around the exam room area yet... Gotta churn and burn to pay for all the fancy office buildings and such....so you only get a 120 seconds or so with the doc... I'd rather deal with a nurse practitioner... They have actually seen so much, actually talked to the patient and diagnosed the particular mocus patient has, most cases WTF do they even need the doc for... They make huge bank but have to lay out huge bank to be able to churn money... In the past, I have come close to whipping a hospital staff doc's ass in front of god and everybody.... Roving contract floor docs are a joke for the most part...


Just a pet peeve of mine. With the money involved in just getting a bandaid on a kid's scrape, you would think they'd be more efficient than an automated car wash but hell to the no.... Sometimes like a cross country foot race for folks with no sense of direction in a clinic or some hospitals...

Just got the call from her oncologist after I called again, got answering machine again after a ton of rings, gave em the message again and added, we are pushing four hours since my last call..... Got a call back within 60secs...

i picked up breakfast and ate it. i'm not cooking shit today.
