It's been years but I must confess something

Just last fall I "upgraded" to a Google Pixel from... my trusty Blackberry :) I was a die hard Blackberry fan for years - my Android based Blackberry DTEK60 was one of the last Blackberry branded devices (although it was basically "generic" hardware running Blackberry software - hardware...

OFF TOPIC... Good to see you back. Last I recall you were downsizing the guitar collection due to arthritis making playing painful - you still managing to strum a chord occasionally?

I think that familiarity is the key. Whenever I try to troubleshoot my wife's iphone I end up frustrated and mad as it doesn't make sense the hoops I need to jump through to make it work. She'd probably say the same about my Pixel.

    MLP, I am done

Tim Hortons changed coffee suppliers? recently? May have to give Tim's another chance as I never was a huge fan - the "double-double" crowd seems to like Tims but as a black coffee drinker it was always a last resort for me.

    MLP, I am done

My go to (when I wasn't working from home) was a Starbucks Pike place - Black. No real complaints from me. Working from home - whatever medium roast beans Costco has on sale.

    This is terrible

Actually - another question for those in the industry. Is that a public school? Something like "institute of visual arts" doesn't sound like a regular school

    This is terrible

Perhaps a question for the folks working in education... Are you still allowed to fail a student and hold them back? Or is there too much blowback when that is done? Forgot who recently posted that they were no longer permitted to grade anything less than a 50% pass (or something along those...

Does anything really surprise you anymore?

Seem to recall that LeftyF2003 won the amp draw (might have that wrong) I was referring to the Adidas raffle to see who can buy the clown shoes

Does anything really surprise you anymore?

I was thinking the same thing :) Also - was disappointed that I missed the raffle - seems like the kind of crap (limited edition) that goes for big $$$ in the collector market

    The Mad Hatter's Tea Party

Mine is 20 years old as well - this is my second start relay replacement. Paid a tech (way too much) the first time around and did it myself this time. I was quite happy that I was able to save mine from scrapping as I hear a lot of negative reviews of all of the new stuff (high end included). I...

    The Mad Hatter's Tea Party

Fridge wasn't fixable? Mine went south about a month ago - $40 start relay and all was good again - plug and play with my Kitchenaid (with the exception of the multiple Kg of food I tossed out)

Show me on the Sneech where Dr. Seuss hurt you.

I thought it was already pulled from schools and libraries?
