    Handstanding, Travelling and Les Pauls

Hi everybody, I want to share with you this video. It is the result of my 3 hobbies, wich are guitars, photography and travalling. My first ideia was to use ac/dc songs in the back, but youtube remove the audio when the songs have namerights. So I decide to put my covers that I already have...

Ain't Life Grand - BLS Cover - Zakk Wylde Les Paul Signature

Thanks man. Yeah that's true, the epiphones have a more yellow cream. I like this guitar a lot, it looks awesome, with all that gold in the headstock.

Tone Test: Gibson LP Zakk Wylde Signature VS Gibson LP 59 reissue VOS

In this vid, using the Marshall Bluesbreaker I prefer the R9, but I want to do the same now with fast playing solos, using my JCM 800, boosted with an sd-1 and a zakk wah. I bet the LP ZW will perform better.

Tone Test: Gibson LP Zakk Wylde Signature VS Gibson LP 59 reissue VOS

That is a very good point. I forgot to talk about it. I have noticed a long time ago that pickup output doensn't make much difference in a distorted amp, maybe clean it would make. But the difference is much more tonal than in gain. Both clean up very well with volume knob. EMGs work like any...

Tone Test: Gibson LP Zakk Wylde Signature VS Gibson LP 59 reissue VOS

The muddy is because I am using a Bluesbreaker with volume at 9. In my JCM 800 R9 sounds very tight. But as You can see the ZW is tighter even through the bluesbreaker. The "Had to cry today" riff shows it very well

Gibson Les Paul Zakk Wylde - refret?

Yeah, my intention was to put dunlop 6100 in my Custom too, but my luthier convinced me to use stewmac 150. He told me They are better wire and the profile is very similar to the dunlop. What do you think of the frets on your custom? Why don't you try a refret, I think you will like. It...

Gibson Les Paul Zakk Wylde - refret?

Man, the frets on The Custom look huge, but I can tell They feel very good to play, because They are rounded. I can do slides very fast without problems, and is very precise to bend. The frets on the ZW are lower but They are squared shaped.
