Thank you much appreciated! I thought the same about the fretboard. I gave it a restring yesterday and haven't stopped playing it all weekend. The strings are probably nearly dead again lol. Just about about to watch you're new vid. I really enjoyed the last one. Thanks for posting it!

    Murphy Lab Owners Thread

Hi guys, I hope you are all well. I gave in a couple of weeks back and ended up selling off my 54" Goldtop VOS. I decided to put the cash towards this really nice 57" light aged Murphy Lab Goldtop with a dark back. This had been one of my dream guitars to buy for a very long time and was really...

Here's my 59" heavy aged in slow iced tea. I really like the one it plays fantastic, sound awesome! and I just can't get over how good the ageing is! I just knew it was the one in the store when the case opened. I was just speechless. I've now got my eye on a light aged 57" Goldtop dark back. I...

NGD - Murphy Lab 59' Heavy Aged Slow Iced Tea

Thank you, not too sure on the weight to be honest but it's average for a LP. Probably around 9 pounds I reckon. Neck profile is really comfortable I'd say it's bang in the middle for a 59" not too thick or thin. And the rolled edges feel good as well. It just makes you wanna play all the time...

NGD - Murphy Lab 59' Heavy Aged Slow Iced Tea

I've seen one of those in heavy aged, they look fantastic! And the Kindred Burst in ultra heavy looks good as well. Whichever one you choose you can't go wrong really.

NGD - Murphy Lab 59' Heavy Aged Slow Iced Tea

Hi guys, I hope you are all well and keeping safe. I recently sold off my 60th anniversary R9 and R0 and decided to leave a deposit on this aged Murphy Lab in slow iced tea. I must admit I was a bit hesitant at first but as soon as my dealer emailed me over some pics I was sold. It looks...

60th anni 1960 vos v2 tomato soup burst.

Thank you much appreciated. I prefer the V3 to the V2, the V3 feels really comfortable to me. That's probably because I have an 89' pre historic which I've owned since the early 90's which was my main guitar for a long time and that has a similar neck profile. I live in Hornchurch ESSEX ,so...

60th anni 1960 vos v2 tomato soup burst.

Just bought myself a V3 in tomato burst. I was looking for some different pickups to go in there and thought maybe some Bare Knuckle Mules but those Beano PAFs look like a better option. I’d like to hear your thoughts on them when you get them installed.

Steve taught me to play guitar back then, always used to take lessons in that shed at the bottom of the garden. The he moved to his shop in Rainham.

I think those original photos were taken in another "Steve's" garden? That's who sold it to my dad in the 90's. Probably around 94" maybe earlier I can't remember.

Unfortunately not the bridge posts need repairing. The guitar plays but it's not ideal. Steve Clarke was gonna repair it for me but I just haven't had a chance to go and see him to get it sorted he lives quite far from me.

Possible 58-59 Les Paul No Serial No.

No worries at all, I didn't even know that someone thought the guitar was in France. That was quite sometime ago now back in 2016 way before Steve Clarke got in touch with me. And that comment about Steve trying to contact me is not right. He got in contact in dec 2017 and we made an arrangement...
