What are the differences with the Studio models?

Hello JohnQ, I will search it at GC's website. Can you please direct me into right direction about when you say better company? Thanks.

What are the differences with the Studio models?

Thanks again for the reply. Glad that you are feeling dandy. I will ask GC guy to get me the darn catalog. I just need it for regular updates. You know, I was under the impression that I am getting an almost Tradition Pro under clandestine thicker wood cover. I am not so sure about 490R...

What are the differences with the Studio models?

Thanks for your reply sir. You are right. That guy first looked up online, then put me on hold for 15 minutes (when I called), then after around 20 minutes in total by then, he gave me this info. I am not sure if he checked the catalog or just "asked" somebody there. I am sorry to hear...

    Gary Moore Signature

I don't own one but I am sure a Burstbucker and P-90 can give you some serious kickass sound with the right amp. It is binding-less ....but, that is only important if you're looking for the binding more than sound. Damn, now I wanna get it too.

OMG!! Peavey is gonna buy Gibson!

Interesting ! As somebody said above, no credible information on this. By the way, I have used some of the Peavey stuff. I think Peavey Valveking 100 half stack is quite awesome. :-)

What are the differences with the Studio models?

I honestly do not know if they have burstbuckers or not but you might get more info (price/specs etc) here : Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar and more Solid Body Electric Guitars at GuitarCenter.com. Search it up on musiciansfriend too, if you like. This link may take a minute or so to...

What are the differences with the Studio models?

I don't disagree about the cranking up the price part at all. It might be the wood quality and finish or it might be nothing specific at all but a name "Traditional" versus "Studio" on it. Out of curiosity (because I am about to buy the Studio Deluxe soon), where did you find info about the...

What are the differences with the Studio models?

I was told this by a Guitar Center guy that Studio Deluxe has a Burstbucker 3 and Classic '57 pickups. I documented it all at: http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/gibson-les-pauls/60760-gibson-les-paul-suggestions.html I asked the reason of price difference too between Traditional Pro and...

What are the differences with the Studio models?

In my knowledge, all studios are same except finish/color. The faded one is cheaper than an Ebony which might be different from others based on same measures. Only other studio that is completely different is Gibson Les Paul Studio "Deluxe" (Guitar Center exclusive) which carries different...

Jimmy Page, The Greatest Rock Guitarist Of All Time

There are many great guitarists obviously. Jimmy Page is one of them for sure. He definitely stands on my favorites list because of his compositional skills and ofcourse the recording methods. He himself got a lot of influence from others...one of his beautiful works is actually originally...

Pete Townsend.. Greatest rock rythm player fo all time..

So you guys missed the rest of the stuff I said? No doubt about his or Jimi's talent, but Pete smashing his instruments or Hendrix burning his strat -- I don't really agree with any of those. My Hendrix metaphor was about a "poor kid who became one of the most influential guitarists of all...
