I think WGS makes great stuff, but their prices have gone up dramatically since this thread was born. They’re almost as much as Celestion now, and I don’t think the resale value is as good. I would personally rank them a little lower because of it.
That was always the consensus of a few cork sniffers, never reality. There have been some great Epiphones, they’ve always been a great value. The most recent models are a cut above. The 1959 model especially is a lot of bang for the buck.
Yeah, that sounds like the deal. If they had insurance, they wouldn’t have to argue, just start the paperwork. UPS might have to admit they lost it, but they are not responsible for more than $100 unless you pay for additional coverage.
