I have a 1960 Tribute Plus, and I flippin' HATE the mini-lockers on it. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd change them for regular ones. If someone changed them out, I am probably in a minority here, but I'd understand!
And no belly cut. I'm kind of thinking it might be a Custom Lite or a Custom Classic or whatever they call it. If it's fake, it looks good from the front anyway.
For sale locally, it says Les Paul Custom and is listed as "selling ex's guitar" but it seems too good to be true. Nothing is glaringly fake to me, but I am not the best at spotting this, y'all are much better at this.
Thank you.
I'm pretty well-versed in setting up and swapping stuff out and troubleshooting, was just looking for a more clear sound, they're not quite as crisp as the 57 classics and such. I love my Muse, just wanna go for a different sound I think. I will grab some Deoxit, though!
I had a time trying to get it to intonate, tweaked the neck to the limit even after their setup. It's ok, but nothing inspiring. It's about what you'd expect from the price point, could use a lot of upgrades but not something I want to throw money into, however it's not horrible to have sitting...
My LP Muse from last year is cutting volume in and out on the bridge pickup, and rather than have them fix it, I am just going to upgrade the pickups to something I haven't decided on yet and upgrade the pots/switch/jack/wiring. Does anyone know the right size pots and such to get that will fit...
