    New AC/DC MGL50 Video Clips

Oh hell yes. I wager this amp is likely not inexpensive, but dayum that sounds great.

Out of Phase question...neck or bridge, or does it matter?

Hello all, I have a 2 conductor SD-59 neck pickup, and a 4 conductor SD-59 bridge in my SG Standard. I've wired up a switch a la the Seymour Duncan Jimmy Page diagram to get the pickups out of phase with each other. I like it, but it seems to be a "thinner" out of phase tone than others I've...

Tonal difference between white/red vs black/green on SD '59?

Okay. Thanks! I know I'm using a different coil with the non-SD schematic in my last post, but my question is if the wiring in that non-SD schematic causes the humbucker to function differently when the switches are NOT engaged, vs. the SD schematic. Does that make sense?

Tonal difference between white/red vs black/green on SD '59?

Ding ding ding! That makes sense. Okay. Good. Thanks man! I suppose my question now is, should there be any discernible difference if I wire together red/white or green/black AND just use it as a normal, un-split, in-phase humbucker? I like the extra quacky tone I'm getting with it wired...

    Pickups for sg standard

I never tried the bridge Crossroads, but the neck was very nice. Wast it "twice the price of a SD '59" nice? I don't think so. But yes, there was an incremental difference.

Tonal difference between white/red vs black/green on SD '59?

Hello there, I'm just now getting into coil tapping and phase splitting, but have noticed two different ways to wire up a phase switch on a Seymour Duncan '59. The Seymour Duncan schematic says wire the red/white together and use the green/black for the phase reversal. A random web...

    Pickups for sg standard

FWIW, I've gone through the following on my 2004 SG Standard: - Stock pickups - Seymour Duncan Seth Lovers in both positions - WCR Goodwood in the bridge, and Crossroads in the neck - Seymour Duncan '59s in both positions My favorite combination by far has been the '59s. Really, really...

FS/FT: Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1N Neck humbucker, nickel cover

Hello there, I have a like new SH-1N '59 neck pickup, 2-conductor, with a nickel cover, but I want to trade it for a 4-conductor version. Nickel cover only, please. I know that's a long shot, so I'm not opposed to selling this pickup and simply buying a 4-conductor neck if I have to. Lemme...

Remove your '57 Classic and '57 Classic + pickups from your guitar

Still looking. I'd also be open to a Classic/Classic set......but I think I'd prefer a Classic/Classic +. I also wouldn't be opposed to a set of Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups. Lemme know whatchya got...

Remove your '57 Classic and '57 Classic + pickups from your guitar

....and sell them to me. I want a '57 Classic neck and '57 Classic + bridge pickup for my SG. I'd like them to be post-1999, as I've heard the newer ones are made differently. I don't care if they're ugly and dirty....just so long as they work and have enough lead length for my SG. I...

    WTB: Gibson Les Paul Traditional

I suppose I can include pre-'08 Standards to this list. Pretty much any great playing Gold Top or Honeyburst. I'm more interested in the quality of the guitar's sonic/acoustic properties than it being a Traditional, per se. I'd be open to a good R7, even a "well played" one...though I...
