Suitable padding for a guitar stand?

I like the idea of using an old pair of denims for this, would that be OK? I think it's look pretty cool.

I don't think I am being harsh, just honest. It's a wonderful looking guitar and I'd be proud to own it, I'd also be proud of it's scars and slight wonkiness, it makes it unique and I love that.

OK, straight talk, dude, from everything I have seen, especially now with that neck routing under the pickguard this is a Junior that has been modified by someone who took care but did a pretty shoddy job overall, maybe a home enthusiast. The drill marks in the cavity, my luthier would never let...

    Gibson LP Real or Fake?????

It's your typical and cliched chibson that fell out of the optional extras tree and hit every branch on the way down.

If I found a Junior I really loved I absolutely would go to these lengths to make it a more rounded guitar, the thought of a neck P90 like this filling my soul with rich warm tones just thinking about it. My local luthier would charge maybe £100 to do this

The routing in the control cavity seems to have been done with a series of circular drill bits, you can see the centre punch hole and surrounding circular pattern, I don't think Gibson uses this method. I think overall it's a great job and beautiful guitar but that stuck out to me, reminds me of...

Got a new Goldtop Standard and ... not loving it

I had Jags and Teles for years before I got a humbucker and yeah you have to think of them as different beasts, I remember thinking humbuckers sounded mushy and over powered, but in all honesty it was just a settling in period. Nothing I own beats the clarity and purity of this...

Anything is possible my friend, I've seen serious multi page threads on here about the tone in Jimmy Page's tuners

Got a new Goldtop Standard and ... not loving it

Bet it would sound incredibly lush through my Bluesbreaker, amps are a massive part of the equation. I have owned many Blackstars and they can be a bit icepicky, I have a Greenback in my 5 watt one now and it helps, same with Blues Jnr, no not as much, it's that top end-y vibe, may be part of...

What amp etc are you using? Could an EQ pedal be an option? You can do some amazing stuff with a Boss EQ
