I've been wanting to name my Les Paul for a while.

The 2003 Brazilian '59 R9 on the ground is called "The Kiss". The 2011 '62 SG is called "Will get sold soon because it isnt good enough as the Kiss".

Is there a way to change magnets on a potted pickup...

Okay, good to hear! So, I can you desolder those two solderpoints, remove the covers, swap the magnets the proper way and then just... Putting the covers back on without re-waxing the pickup? Won't taking the pickup cover off itself affect the wax?

Is there a way to change magnets on a potted pickup...

Okay, let me explain the problem. The pickups on my 2003 Brazilian '59 are potted and they have covers on them. Can I just remove the covers, yes, I can, but what about the wax? Becuase I can not re-wax the pickups. Can I, after swapping the magnets, just put the covers on the pickups again...

What makes the SG have 'the thing' that the Les Paul doesnt have..

What everybody does not mention is the difference in the angle of the strings after the abr1 to the tailpiece. Because my guitar has the meastro and low action, there is almot no angle, similiar to top wrapping. Top wrapping gives the guitar a slightly different sound. My LP does have much more...
